I always knew it would be her

| Stacy
Of all our kids, it was going to be Skeezix.
She is a remarkably happy girl.
She is bubbly, spunky and always on the go.
She is also the most likely to get hurt.
And get hurt she did.


She was running and playing with the boys.
She hit the fridge, ricocheted off and into the counter.
She started screaming about her elbow.
JB attended to it.
Then he called me in with *that voice.*
Blood all over her hair.
I couldn’t even look.
JB’s parents were here for dinner.
Off to urgent care.
5 “staples” later…
She was a CHAMP! She ROCKED! ♥ ♥ ♥
I took the photos so she could see what it looked like.
Me being me… sharing them came next. 😉
