We were silly while we blew out the candles.

Then we investigated how yeast makes bread rise.

but they seemed to put it together okay after I explained it.

I didn’t actually MAKE bread, [we had a bit going on today!]
But we put yeast, warm water, and sugar in the dish and left it.
