Skeezix’s birthday is in July also, and Beau is in August. I am open to ideas for group gifts. [We love group gifts and in the past have gotten them a bounce house (all three) and a sand/water table (boys when younger).]

Not sure how you feel about toy guns, like with darts, but Nerf makes some cool ones. Karl's aunt and ucle got our family a set of 4 and the kids(and Daddy)have had great fun with it. Comes with goggles for protection and vests for the darts to stuck to. Or how about a volley ball and net? I'm thinking of getting that for our back yard. Then the whole family can play together. I'm sure you'll find something they'll love!

My boys just turned 7…we bought them 4 wheel scooters(from Walmart).They are similar to a razor scooter, but with 4 wheels. They turn 360 degrees(something like that) Their razor scooters were getting very beat up….they have been enjoying their new ones.Ok, rambling here…:)

This was a fairly inexpensive and very favorite individual gift in my house – Uncle Milton's Planet Frog (flimsy plastic frog habitat). We did not order the tadpoles, but actually captured them from a pond. We had two years of success with a total of 10 frogs – which were released back into their “home” pond to visit with their families. 😉

I always had a hard time with birthdays and Christmas. I still don't know what to buy most of the time and am inclined to buy practical things like sleeping bags.
