We needed to take a tree down. The tree itself was in rough shape.
It has two tops and some dead spots.
It also happens to be where we want to put a pool.
Beau went out to help Daddy.
He asked if he could use the chainsaw
when he was, “You know, like eleven?”
Mmmm… maybe not.
Daddy got on his hard hat. Isn’t it cool? Not too Bob-the-Builder-y. More like Garth Brooks with power tools.
After sitting poised for almost an hour with a dying video camera battery and the camera, the tree came down whist I was unprepared. Seriously. One minute prior, JB was hanging onto a branch, swinging, trying to see if it would give. Then he shrugged. Made a simple cut and down it came.
“Now look at the mess I made,” said JB.
