Our Not-First-Day-Of-School

We celebrated our, “Not-first-day-of-school,” by heading out to Chuck E. Cheese’s with three other families of homeschoolers. It was really quiet when we got there, but got a little busy as the afternoon wore on.
We were the first of our friends to arrive and really had the place to ourselves for a while.
The girls stuck together at first.

The girls brought purses for their tokens.
I only gave them a handful of tokens at a time. I was wondering who would lose their purse, first. While no one lost theirs, I did look over just in time to see them stashing their purses in the shoe-holder thing that you put your shoes in before you climb up in the tube/net thing.

This is always a good way to earn tickets.

Hanging out in the toddler area. Angel likes to look after kids smaller than herself.

Scooter was awake much of the day, but conked out for a good nap. Her days to tear Chuck E. Cheese’s apart are coming soon, I am sure.

The boys and their buddies enjoyed rounds at Jurassic Park.
“What is a Jurassic Park, Mom?”

He’s just getting so grown-up.

Champ and his friend pooled their resources and got a nice bundle of treats.

Angel got some cotton candy all to herself.

Skeezix made a new friend today. She was from another homeschool family. They had their photo taken together and they asked for a pen to sign their names. “Let’s write it in cursive!” said Skeezix. “Yes!” said Jessica. And they both did. 😉
