Reward night with Mama

Hanny was feeling scared at night.  Every night.  Of course we spoke words of reassurance, and we prayed with her.  And we shared scriptures.  But her fear was palpable and heart breaking.
We let her sleep with us one night (which is something that we never, ever, ever, ever do).  Ever.
Then she slept in her sisters’ room two nights.  It wasn’t a great sleep for the older two.
So I got the idea of making this sticker page.  Each night she went to bed and stayed in her room and went to sleep on her own, she’d get a sticker.  She was a CHAMP.  Twelve straight nights of not a peep!

She chose Target for her date and snack.

It was so fun.
(Um, yeah – she started being scared again right afterward.  To be continued.)

Brothers are wonderful

Hanny woke up with croup.
She and I had to miss church.
Thankfully, we still have Stewart’s nebulizer and unexpired Albuterol.
But it sure is boring sitting there for a treatment.

Unless you have a big brother.
