Soccer, Soccer, and more Soccer…

First – there is the good, old HIS Sports.

Johanna, Katriel and Nigel are playing HIS Soccer on Saturday mornings again this year.

John is a substitute coach and will fill in weekly wherever he is needed.

Then there are my Scarlet Knight daughters.  Marie is playing her first year of Varsity and Tabitha is playing her first year of Modified.

If you can’t find me… look for me at Bullis Park.  Or Brockport.  Or Binghamton.  Or Hilton.  Or….

First Day of School–homeschool version

Friends invited us to join them at the beach to celebrate “First Day of Not-School.”

We’d never been to a lake beach and I’d always wanted to give it a try.  Although it poured buckets as we looked for the place, the skies cleared and we had a lovely time.

I’m shy on photos, but that’s because we were all having too good a time to take many.

I definitely want to do this again!  Sadly, it will have to wait until next year at this point!

Another year!

Stewart is going full time to FLCC. Nigel is taking 7 credits at FLCC and doing the rest of his schoolwork at home.

Marie, Tabitha, and Johanna have their plates full, as well.  And Katriel has just a handful of subjects as she is the final Butler to begin Kindergarten.
She’s left with the task of “Keeping herself busy” way too much of the day.  I got her down some construction paper and Tabitha helped her make some kind of lady bug (that I never saw).  But the way she cut out the black spots left these marks in the paper.  And that was all the encouragement Katriel needed to crate this mask.

Then she made Marie a mask.
