when you get to work and see something like this and the first thing that pops in your mind is, “Oh, man. I need to paint that, too.”
I have opened that door thousands upon thousands of times and just noticed this today.

A kitchen for Nan
Sometimes I have great ideas.
Sometimes I have okay ideas and make a giant mess before I fix it.
This is definitely the second one.
Stewart headed to Nan’s one morning and removed all Nan’s kitchen cupboard doors so that I could paint them white.
What should have taken 18-21 days took 153,244 days instead. Nothing went smoothly. But we finally finished and I will never stain in the wintertime again.
This is what the cupboards looked like at Christmas.
