Marie and Tab were in grades 2 and K when they first had a taste of AHG.  It was so short, but happily remembered.

Today, Katriel crossed over from Tenderheart to Explorer.

Johanna from Explorer to Pioneer

Tab stayed at the same level.

And Marie marched out of the troop.

Marie’s participation this year has been on the smallish side, but they’ve always treated her like a full partner.

Johanna was tapped to read the Colorguard announcements. 

She really did a good job, and – I hate to admit it – I barely noticed!  You know how you can notice when something isn’t done well, but you don’t notice if it is working properly?

Johanna has dyslexia and she had years of speech therapy. AND multiple people commented to me that she did a good job, and I was just like, “Aw. Thanks.” and didn’t think anything of it. Shame on me. She was very proud too.
