Once a month one of us goes to ALDI and buys our month’s worth of groceries. It usually ends up being 1+ carts and about $200 worth. How does it all get put away neatly?

Beau is inside there, putting it on the shelves.
They got the idea from Little House on the Prairie.
We headed to Splash Lagoon on Friday with a bunch of friends.
We had a fantastic time.
The weather was FREEZING outside, which made the balmy 85 degrees delightful. The crazy waterslides and lazy river made it crazy fun. It was just what Mama needed. It was magnificent.
Skeezix wasn’t really sad. She was tired of taking photos.
We had to work to get Scooter to look at the camera.
After swimming we headed to Quaker Steak and Lube and had a great, fun meal. Our friends were celebrating two of their children’s birthdays there. It was a good time for everyone.
On the ride home. 
We went with other homeschoolers to Birdsong Trail to feed the chickadees. It had thawed a bit, but was still VERY cold that day. Most of the kids were a bit too wiggly to get any major bird-feeding done. Plus, another group had gone through just before us. Still, it was pretty cool, and two of my disciples had the privilege of feeding a chickadee from their hand.
We look forward to going back.

On a side note – at swim lessons on Saturday Angel’s instructor asked why she was wearing her pajamas!
Angel got a new bathing suit!
It is totally, “her.”

Starring Champ
Spring lasted exactly two days in our region. We skipped over summer and fall entirely and went right back to winter.
Well, I hope not. But that is what it feels like.
We celebrated “spring” with a trip to the zoo with Nene.
Angel brought her camera and clicked away!
We checked out the new snow leopards.
Played king of the hill.
Enjoyed some fresh air, and some outdoor naps.
Got our 313th and 314th photos of these creatures… [we’ve been to the zoo a few times…]
Saw the real bears enjoying the weather, as well.
And took care of a few animals in need.
Some were livelier than others.
Roar.
I told Skeezix we had to be careful that Scooter would not fall and hit her head.
Skeezix took care of that, wouldn’t you say?
