Nan sent me this picture.
I was at work for mandatory training (that fell during TECH WEEK!) and she came by to keep the peace and keep Katriel company while the Spanish tutor was here.
I’d left Katriel out some books with tabs on them where she could do school work WITH OUT MAMA. Nan said she was very proud.
Said the most beautiful 6 year old I know!
She wanted a “plain picture” so she could learn how to draw faces.
I am crazy in love with this JEWEL.
Katriel prepared and directed a play based on the life of Jesus. She called it, “The Miracles of Jesus.” And she blew us away.
Johanna was also in the production, but I only had video of her.
The still pictures don’t show how into the stomping and clapping Katriel got.
But I think we can tell she was into it!
We finished school early to dive into some frosting fun.
They were pretty and delicious!
Nothing special about this photo… except it will help me remember that when Katriel spots that Mama’s cup of coffee is almost done she will sweetly ask if she can finish it.
And I almost always say yes.
And why do I only have pictures of Katriel?
I was doing the video camera and Nan was doing a video for me on my phone. I guess I should have considered getting still shots?!
None the less, I want to remember how many times I was blessed by my little ones (and not so little ones) singing at CBS. We’ve been attending since 2002. To God Be the Glory!!!
We don’t get here as often as we did when the big kids were young.
But it’s nice that once a year RGH offers free admission in September.
Our busy schedule allowed for only three hours, but we had a blast.
I love that Tabitha will still play with them. She helps this tired older mom keep them supervised.
I think the food presentation on the cruise ships has affected Katriel’s expectations for meals.
