Nigel and Sonic

Nigel enjoys shopping, which I love.  He is an excellent shopping partner and I love our conversations.  Our shopping took us out to Henrietta and into the dinner hour, so we decided to try out sonic.

It was yummy.  And it was good to catch up with him after his weekend away.

Lunch with Nigel

Nigel is usually fairly helpful.  But he was remarkably helpful to me the week John was out of town.  I offered him a small gift in gratitude.  He countered with the suggestion of lunch out at Patty Shack.  I wholeheartedly agreed that would be a great idea.

Check out his colossal burger…

Baseball night

I realized a while ago that we’d never taken the kids to a baseball game.  In fact, the last time I went to a baseball game I was 40 weeks pregnant with Stewart.  j

Johanna and Katriel slept over with Nan while John and I took Stewart, Nigel, Marie, and Tabitha to the game.  We watched the Red Wings take on the Mud Hens.  The Mud Hens won by a lot.  But we all had a great time.

And we bought them all sodas the size of their heads!

Nigel is 14

It was just a normal day, for the most part.
We had cake around 2 before Mama and Daddy needed to go to a wedding.

Nigel got a new watch to replace the one lost in Cozumel.

After Mama and Daddy got home from the wedding around 6, we dined on pot roast (his request), mashed potatoes, and broccoli.  We ended the night with a movie.

Last day of baseball–pizza party

Dad was out of town, so it meant Mama went to the game and enjoyed the pizza with the whole crew.  I was even able to see some of the games (although little Miss Three Year Old didn’t exactly settle in for inning after inning).

What is a mom to do when her 3 year old decides she no longer wants to wear the ears she brought with her?

Hanny had her own soda.  Yes, she did.

Hanny got to blow the horn to warn the teams that the end of the game was near.

Rebels and Dark Side spotted at Walmart?

Fun with Tabby and Nigel at Walmart.
It was a great way to end a long day.
Nigel needed new shorts (he got five new pair) and Tab just wanted some retail therapy.

He took finding new sunglasses very seriously.

He selected the mirrored ones in the end.

Living Last Supper

our church did the Living Last Supper for Good Friday.
Nigel was Simon the zealot.
Stewart and Kelly were in the choir (not pictured).

It was lovely.
